Salman Khan is back with Dabangg 2 and he is back to wooing his lady love…now wifey… Sonakshi Sinha with the song Dagabaaz re. This romantic number has a complete Tere mast mast do nain hangover, in terms of tune and picturisation. With the khakhi wardi, sunglasses, the crowd and Salman’s quintessential Chulbul Pandey dance moves and quirky charm – the Dabangg quotient seems to be well in place for this song.
We hear that Arbaaz Khan and Sajid-Wajid finalised the entire Dabangg 2 album in two hours. Now, that’s quite something! And we must say that the quality and melody of this first song from the film, sets the right tone for the rest of the item numbers to follow. The traditional harmonium alaaps and tabla beats light up this simple tune. Despite being very similar to Tere mast mast, we give this song video our thumbs up for the cute and entertaining chemistry between Sallu and Sona, and for the colourful direction.
